Building a successful spirit brand independently is nearly impossible. America’s complex three-tier system prevents us from selling Uncle Nearest directly to you (except at Nearest Green Distillery) or to retailers, bars, restaurants, hotels, entertainment complexes, and other spirit-buying venues. Instead, we must sell to a distributor, who then sells to the final vendors. Consequently, the most influential people in the spirits industry are not the owners of your favorite brands like Uncle Nearest, but the distributors. This unique system puts all independent spirit brands at a disadvantage.

So, how is Uncle Nearest leveling the playing field? Simply put, we’ve never relied solely on our distributors. We haven’t depended on them because the larger companies are their primary revenue sources. From the beginning, we’ve relied on you to ensure Uncle Nearest’s presence cannot be ignored. You’ve tirelessly visited stores, bars, restaurants, hotels, and sports venues, requesting they carry Uncle Nearest. Some of you, like Keith, Victoria and me, even refuse to patronize places where ultra-premium spirits are sold if Uncle Nearest isn’t available. We deeply appreciate this dedication!

Many of you have inquired about making an even greater impact. Here’s your chance through a simple 3-step process:

1. Request Uncle Nearest wherever you see Ultra Premium spirits (e.g., Patron, Casamigos, Johnnie Walker, single barrel bourbons, etc.) sold. If available, kindly order one for yourself and another for someone else at the bar, restaurant, or hotel. If not, proceed to step two.

2. If Uncle Nearest is unavailable, ask for the manager and share your personal experience with our brand and why you’re taking the time to ask for it in their establishment. You might even show them NearestGreen.com to put a spotlight on our brand story. Ask them if they will commit to stocking Uncle Nearest before your next visit. Regardless of their response, continue to step three.

3. Obtain the manager’s name and contact information, if available. Then, complete the form below.

Upon receiving this information, we will forward it to our local Uncle Nearest team member, who will promptly visit the manager. If they succeed in introducing Uncle Nearest to their venue, YOUR NAME and hometown will be immortalized on our What Cements Us wall at Nearest Green Distillery—the 7th most visited distillery in the world. We want future visitors, even centuries from now, to see your name and recognize your role in building the Uncle Nearest brand and cementing Nearest Green’s legacy for generations to come.
